We had to replace our spot cleaner hose thanks to one of the kids accidentally stepping on the handle and crushing it (oops!). The change over was quite easy to do (thanks youtube!). The original hose was transparent, unlike this replacement which is a solid black HOWEVER, it is ever so slightly longer, so wrapping it around the spit cleaners unit is MUCH easier! (And extra hose length is always a bonus!)
